We can’t get enough of red lentils! In this recipe, they’re a part of spicy chili with just a hint of sweetness from some brown sugar and tartness of apple cider vinegar.

Cooking time: 15 minutes


7 cups Water

2 cups Red Lentils

2 diced Red Peppers

1 diced Onion

5-6 whole Tomatoes chopped

5 minced Garlic cloves

¼ cup of Brown Sugar

2 tablespoon of Apple Cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Paprika

1 tablespoon Chili Powder

1 teaspoon cayenne powder


1. Throw all the ingredients in a pressure cooker and seal the lid.

2. Cook on high flame for 4 to 5 whistles.

3. Wait until all the pressure is released.

4. Stir and serve.
